详细信息

The biceps femoris is one of the three hamstring muscles. It has a long head and a short head. The long head originates from the ischial tuberosity, while the short head originates from the linea aspera of the femur. Both heads insert into the head of the fibula. It flexes the knee and extends the hip, and also externally rotates the leg when the knee is flexed.
