Gedetailleerde informatie

The anterior deltoid is the front portion of the deltoid muscle. It originates from the lateral third of the clavicle and inserts into the deltoid tuberosity of the humerus. It is responsible for shoulder flexion (raising the arm forward) and internal rotation. It is heavily involved in pressing movements like bench press and overhead press.
