Informação detalhada

The obliques consist of two muscles: the external obliques and internal obliques. They are located on the sides of the abdomen. The external obliques rotate the trunk to the opposite side and laterally flex the spine. The internal obliques rotate the trunk to the same side and laterally flex the spine. They are important for rotational movements and core stability.
