Músculo Iliopsoas

Informação detalhada

The iliopsoas consists of two muscles: the iliacus and the psoas major. They originate from the ilium and lumbar vertebrae and insert into the lesser trochanter of the femur. They are the primary hip flexors and also stabilize the lumbar spine. Tight iliopsoas muscles are common in people who sit for long periods and can contribute to lower back pain.
