Muscle Quadriceps

Informations détaillées

The quadriceps is a group of four muscles on the front of the thigh: rectus femoris, vastus lateralis, vastus medialis, and vastus intermedius. They all insert into the patella and tibia via the patellar tendon. The quadriceps extend the knee and assist in hip flexion. They are the primary muscles used in squats, lunges, and leg presses.
