The flexor carpi ulnaris is a muscle in the anterior compartment of the forearm. It originates from the medial epicondyle of the humerus and the ulna, and inserts into the pisiform bone and base of the fifth metacarpal. It flexes and adducts the wrist. It is important for grip strength and wrist stability.
