The brachioradialis is a prominent muscle on the lateral side of the forearm. It originates from the lateral supracondylar ridge of the humerus and inserts into the styloid process of the radius. It flexes the elbow and assists in pronation and supination of the forearm. It is most active when the forearm is in a neutral position.
