Sunflower Oil — photo 1

Sunflower oil is pressed from sunflower seeds and is the everyday frying and salad oil in Russia, Ukraine and much of Europe. A 10 ml serving, about two teaspoons, has about 81 kcal and 9 g of fat, about two thirds of it polyunsaturated linoleic acid (omega-6), and gives about 3.8 mg of vitamin E. High-oleic sunflower oil, sold for frying, has mostly monounsaturated fat instead, with the same calories.
