Exceptional nutritional value
Fresh red raspberries, values for the raw berries.
Raspberries are eaten fresh, added to yogurt, porridge and desserts, and cooked into jam and sauces. A 125 g portion has about 65 kcal and only 5.5 g of sugars, with 8 g of fiber, close to a third of the daily value, about 33 mg of vitamin C and over a third of the daily value of manganese. The berries are fragile and spoil within a few days; frozen unsweetened raspberries have similar calories and suit cooking and smoothies.
