Exceptional nutritional value
Raw orange, peeled.
Oranges are eaten peeled as a snack or squeezed for juice. A medium orange of about 130 g gives about 60 kcal, 12 g of sugar and 3 g of fiber, and it covers most of the daily value of vitamin C, with some folate and thiamin. Eating the whole fruit keeps the fiber that is lost in juice: orange juice has almost none.
