Lemonade — photo 1

US-style lemonade is a still drink of lemon juice, water and sugar, sold bottled or made at home. A 250 ml glass has about 120 kcal and 30 g of sugar, 7 to 8 teaspoons, and little else: no protein, fat or fiber and only a little vitamin C. In the UK and Australia, lemonade usually means a clear carbonated lemon-lime soft drink, which is also sugary unless labeled diet or zero sugar.
