Espresso — photo 1

Espresso is concentrated coffee made by forcing hot water under pressure through finely ground coffee, and is the base of cappuccino and latte. A single 30 ml shot has about 3 kcal and practically no nutrients, with about 65 mg of caffeine, less than a 240 ml cup of brewed coffee despite its strength. A double shot, or doppio, is about 60 ml.
