Good nutritional profile
Finely ground blanched almonds (almond flour), values for the dry flour.
Blanched almond flour is finely ground skinless almonds, used in gluten-free and low-carbohydrate baking, macarons and cakes. A 30 g portion gives about 180 kcal, 6 g of protein and 16 g of fat, mostly monounsaturated, with 3 g of fiber and under 3 g of other carbohydrate. It is rich in vitamin E and copper, with useful magnesium, manganese and riboflavin. It forms no gluten, so it cannot replace wheat flour one to one in yeast breads.
