Exceptional nutritional value
Raw whole almonds with skin, unsalted.
Almonds are eaten as a snack, sliced or ground in baking, and made into almond butter and almond milk. A 30 g handful, about 24 almonds, has about 175 kcal, 6 g of protein and 4 g of fiber, and is high in vitamin E, copper, manganese and riboflavin, with a good amount of magnesium. Most of their fat is monounsaturated, and roasting changes the values very little.
