Farmed rabbit meat, values for the raw edible meat without bones.
Farmed rabbit is common in French, Italian, Spanish and Eastern European cooking, usually braised, stewed or roasted. A 150 g raw portion gives about 205 kcal, 30 g of protein and 8 g of fat, and is very high in vitamin B12 (about 11 µg) and high in niacin, vitamin B6, selenium and phosphorus. It is lean, with less fat than most cuts of beef, pork or lamb, and dries out quickly unless cooked with some liquid or fat.
