Oat Milk — photo 1

Oat milk is made by blending oats with water, breaking down their starch with enzymes and adding oil for creaminess. A 250 ml glass has about 115 kcal but only 2.5 g of protein, and about 10 g of sugar, formed mostly from the oat starch during processing. Fortified versions like this give about 300 mg of calcium and are high in riboflavin and vitamin B12; barista versions have more fat and calories.
