Good nutritional profile
Layered pasta with meat and cheese.
Lasagna is baked layers of flat pasta sheets, meat and tomato sauce, bechamel or ricotta and mozzarella, often topped with parmesan. It is high in protein and provides calcium from the cheese, but the cheese and bechamel also add saturated fat and sodium. A 350 g portion is about 650 kcal; lean ground meat, less cheese and a green salad on the side keep it lighter.
