Moderate nutritional value
Eggs, bacon, sausages, beans and toast.
A full English breakfast is a plate of fried or scrambled eggs, bacon, pork sausages, baked beans, grilled tomato, mushrooms and buttered toast, sometimes with black pudding. It is high in protein and fat, and the bacon, sausages and beans make it high in sodium. A 450 g plate has about 900 kcal; grilling the bacon and sausages and poaching the eggs cut the fat.
