Limited nutritional benefit
Liquid non-dairy coffee creamer, plain, values per 100 ml.
Liquid coffee creamer is a non-dairy substitute for cream made from water, sugar or corn syrup, vegetable oil and emulsifiers, used to whiten coffee and tea. A 15 ml portion, about one tablespoon, has about 20 kcal, 1.5 g of fat and 2 g of sugar and supplies almost no protein, vitamins or calcium. Despite the non-dairy label, most brands contain sodium caseinate, a milk protein, and many contain soy; flavored creamers have more sugar.
