Good nutritional profile
Beef in a sour cream sauce, usually with rice or noodles.
Beef stroganoff is a Russian dish of beef strips seared quickly and served in a sauce of sour cream, mushrooms, onion and a little mustard, usually over rice, egg noodles or mashed potato. It is high in protein and the beef supplies vitamin B12, while the sour cream adds saturated fat. Lean sirloin and a smaller amount of sour cream keep the fat lower.
