Arugula — photo 1

Arugula, also called rocket, is a peppery salad green eaten raw in salads, on pizza after baking and in sandwiches, or stirred into pasta. A 40 g portion, about two cups of leaves, has only 10 kcal and supplies about a third of the daily value of vitamin K and a tenth of folate, with some calcium and vitamin A. Young baby arugula is milder; older, larger leaves are more pungent.
