Laterale Deltoideus-muskel

Detaljerede oplysninger

The lateral deltoid is the middle portion of the deltoid muscle. It originates from the acromion process of the scapula and inserts into the deltoid tuberosity of the humerus. Its primary function is shoulder abduction (raising the arm to the side). It is the main muscle responsible for creating the "shoulder width" appearance and is targeted by lateral raises.
