Skinless turkey breast, values for raw meat.

Turkey — photo 1

Turkey breast is very lean white meat, roasted whole or cut into steaks and cutlets. A 150 g raw portion gives about 35 g of protein with only about 2 g of fat, and is high in niacin, vitamin B6, selenium, vitamin B12 and phosphorus. Like chicken, it loses about 25% of its weight when cooked; deli turkey slices are a different, processed product with much more sodium.
