Salad with chicken, bacon, egg and avocado.
Cobb salad is an American composed salad of chopped lettuce topped with rows of grilled chicken, crisp bacon, hard-boiled egg, avocado, tomato and blue cheese, dressed with vinaigrette. It is high in protein and fat, with little carbohydrate; the avocado supplies mostly unsaturated fat, while bacon and cheese add saturated fat and sodium. Serving the dressing on the side makes the calories easier to control.
