Whey Protein Isolate

Good nutritional profile

Filtered whey powder, about 90% protein with almost no lactose, fat or carbohydrate.

Whey Protein Isolate — photo 1

Whey protein isolate is concentrate taken through a further filtration step: more protein per scoop, and little enough lactose that people who bloat on the concentrate usually tolerate it. The amino-acid profile is the same as the concentrate, so the only real differences are the missing few grams of carbohydrate and fat, the higher price, and better tolerance. Nutritionally there is no reason to prefer it if the concentrate sits well.
