Exceptional nutritional value
Avocado dip with lime and cilantro.
Guacamole is ripe avocado mashed with lime juice and salt, then mixed with onion, cilantro, chili and often diced tomato. Most of its calories come from the avocado's fat, which is mainly monounsaturated, and it is a good source of fiber. Serving it with raw vegetables instead of tortilla chips avoids the extra fat and salt of the chips.
