Limited nutritional benefit
German sausage with curry ketchup.
Currywurst is a Berlin street food of grilled or fried pork sausage cut into slices and covered in a warm ketchup sauce seasoned with curry powder, usually served with fries or a bread roll. It is high in fat and sodium, with some protein from the sausage, and the ketchup adds sugar. With fries it becomes a heavy meal; a bread roll or a side salad keeps the plate lighter.

Arrange the sausage on a plate, spoon the warm curry ketchup generously over the top and dust with the remaining curry powder.
Serve immediately with the fries and extra curry powder on the side.
