Moderate nutritional value
Frozen acai blended with banana, topped with granola and fresh fruit.
An acai bowl is frozen acai pulp blended with banana and a little juice into a thick, sorbet-like base, then topped with granola and fresh fruit; it comes from Brazil. A 440 g bowl has about 380 kcal and 12 g of fiber, but about 28 g of sugar from the fruit, juice and granola and only 6 g of protein. Choose unsweetened acai packs, as sweetened blends and a honey drizzle add a lot of sugar.

At least 2 hours ahead, peel and slice one banana and freeze the slices in a container.
Let the acai packs stand at room temperature for 2-3 minutes, then break them into pieces and put them in a blender with the frozen banana slices and the apple juice.
Blend on low speed, pushing the mixture down with a spatula, until thick and smooth like soft-serve ice cream. Add a splash more juice only if the blender stalls.
Peel and slice the second banana, and hull and slice the strawberries.
Spoon the acai mixture into two chilled bowls.
Top with the granola, banana slices, strawberries and blueberries and serve immediately.
