Ingredients

  • Fresh ramen noodles 240 g
  • Chicken or pork broth 1 litre
  • Soy sauce (or miso paste) 3 tbsp
  • Chashu pork or roast pork, sliced 150 g
  • Eggs 2
  • Nori sheets 2
  • Green onions, sliced 2
  • Fresh ginger, grated 1 tsp
  • Garlic, minced 2 cloves
  • Toasted sesame oil 1 tsp

Instructions

    Soft-boil the eggs for about 7 minutes, then chill, peel, and halve them.

    Bring the broth to a simmer and season it with soy sauce (or miso), ginger, and garlic.

    Cook the ramen noodles in a separate pot of boiling water until just tender, then drain.

    Divide the noodles between two deep bowls.

    Ladle the hot seasoned broth over the noodles.

    Arrange the sliced pork, halved eggs, and nori on top.

    Garnish with green onions and a few drops of sesame oil, then serve immediately.
