Fluoride Toothpaste

Contains common irritants

Everyday cavity-protection toothpaste with sodium fluoride.

Fluoride Toothpaste — photo 1

A standard anticavity toothpaste. Sodium fluoride (≈1450 ppm) remineralizes enamel and is the key active ingredient for cavity protection. Hydrated silica is a mild abrasive that removes plaque. Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) is a foaming surfactant that can irritate sensitive mouths and may aggravate canker sores. Sorbitol and glycerin keep the paste moist and add mild sweetness without feeding cavity-causing bacteria.
